Here is a list of books I've read. As you can see, I read a lot of Young Adult fiction. Madeline L'Engle was a favorite author when I was actually a young adult, but now that I'm a grown up (and have been for longer than I'd like to say), some of my more recent favorites are the Hunger Games series, Graceling, Fire and Bitterblue by Kristen Cashore, and Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth. I have a tendency lately to read a lot of dystopian YA novels. I also am a big fan of Chris Crutcher and his wonderful novels, especially Whale Talk and Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes.
When I'm not reading YA fiction, I typically read suspense novels, and I have been a Kay Hooper fan for over 20 years. I became a fan when she wrote series romances for the Loveswept and Second Chance at Love series, and I'm still a fan now that her suspense novels are regularly on the bestsellers list. I also used to read a lot of Iris Johanson, Catherine Coulter, and Linda Howard novels, but I haven't kept up with their books over the last few years.
